"I hired Brenda soon after I found out what Doulas were and how beneficial they were during pregnancy. Even almost losing my pregnancy due to a horse accident, she was there every step of the way. She makes sure you are informed on everything there really is to know and supports whatever decision you make throughout the way. Me being a first time mom I was clueless. My goal was natural birth, like most moms. However, my delivery went against me and landed me in a C-section. She was there for every text during labor and as soon as I was fully admitted she was right by my side the entire way. Let me tell you, USE THE TENS UNIT!!! Really, just use whatever she offers. "Most don't have any idea what a doula is.....
Well let me just say it's the best decision I ever made in hiring Brenda....
I had prenatal visits with her. She gave me tons of postpartum supplies and a onesie for sissy.. she showed me a way to help cope thru the pain and talked to me about what to do with breastfeeding..
But Brenda really showed up and showed out the night I was put in for induction...
Brenda came in at midnight after we seen the cytotec worked and put me into labor, I was having horrible pains in my back and my blood pressure was going up so she walked in and
gave brian a break so he could sleep and immediately hooked me up to a tens unit on my back and turned me over to help with the pain,, she helped me to the bathroom, held my throw up bucket, calmed me down and talked me thru the pain ....
Even after I got my epidural she talked to me keeping my nerves calm and at bay and reassuring me I could do it....
She was there at 12:36pm helping me push and holding my hand as little Ellie was born and stayed and took pictures of the whole event .....
I am beyond grateful for her, since my mom had my oldest I needed a little extra help and that's exactly what Brenda did. She helped me every step of the way...
Today was 1 of our last postpartum visits where we discussed delivery and she even brought us dinner and of course she loved on ellie!!
If you are an expecting mommy and you're nervous about labor and delivery and need some encouragement or extra help call her and I promise u won't be disappointed!!!"

.Answers back in a timely manner & if she can't she informs everyone and lets them know why or when she will be able to reply more.
•Goes out of her way to be extra supportive. Cares about you and baby a great deal. I feel like each of her relationships with her clients are probably different/special in their own way. With Brenda you are treated like a person and not a number. She takes time to get to know you.
•She has something about her that makes me feel like I have known her forever even though I have just known her for the length of my pregnancy! She answers all the questions and informs you to confidently make your own unique decisions.
•Change doesn't scare her. I switched my plan and she helped me be sure about everything that came along with that. When I faced change of plans during labor she was excellent at reminding me I in fact could do this.
